In 2006, a huge new project called NOWE SUKIENNICE started at the Gallery of 19th-Century Polish Art in the Cloth Hall with the aim of renovating and upgrading the gallery and creating a modern museum that meets the needs and expectations of the contemporary art buffs and tourist, as well as disabled viewers.
