The Laboratory of the National Museum in Krakow supports preservation and conservation of the Museum’s collection through the development of strategies and constant improvement of collection management methods. The Laboratory carries out specialised research in the field broadly understood as heritage science - rooted in the interdisciplinary context of science and humanities - and implements a fundamental research programme in an international context.
