Readers can obtain information about the Library's collections by using the MAK databases in the reading room or traditional card catalogues.
The Library possesses databases of: - books (acquisitions since 1992 plus recatalogued older resources) Online Catalog
- the so-called 'early collection',
- electronic documents,
- publications by the staff of the National Museum of Cracow
- biographies and bibliographies of art historians, museologists etc.,
- the content of materials from meetings of the Art Historians Association since 1980.
Acquisitions from before 1992 are listed in the following card catalogues: - an alphabetical catalogue of books (to 2006) and magazines (continually updated),
- a systematic catalogue (Universal Decimal Classification)
- a topographic catalogue of exhibitions, collections and auctions.
